OBC/Hometown Pride Meeting
The OBC/Hometown Pride Committee will meet Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Odebolt City Hall. Click here to read the February minutes.

We will have a short meeting and then Margo Underwood the interim Hometown Pride coach will talk on community planning and the First Impression Program that we will be having with Hamburg, Iowa. Please plan on attending.

On Friday, March 4th, around the world a multitude of Christian women and men worshiped in their local communities for the annual observance of World Day of Prayer.

In Odebolt, the service was held at the First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m.  Those participating from the area churches in the presentation and the lunch preparation were: Kathy Willhoite, Donna Simonsen, Barb Siebrecht, Elaine Rex, Malinda Bengford, Verna Mae Schwaller, Mary Gustafson, Rita Triplett, Roxie Meier, Marne Barker, Kris Ziegmann, Carol Raasch, Jill Siebrecht, and Terri Carstensen. Thanks is to be given to all of these ladies for a very meaningful afternoon.  The service this year was prepared by the Christian women of Cuba.  The monetary offering was sent to the World Day of Prayer – USA offices.  To find how the World Day of Prayer organization uses its offering monies in mission work, go to:
