Quilts and Blessings
Sunday, May 3, 2015, seniors who will soon graduate from high school were each presented with a quilt.  The quilts had been pieced and sewn together by members of Faith Lutheran Church congregation.  The seniors helped tie the quilts along with their family and adult mentors from confirmation class. They also received prayers and blessings from the congregation for life after high school.

Community Basket News
Community Basket, a ministry that reaches seven area communities, continues to be a blessing to so many people, young and old and everyone in between.

This past month the mobile food pantry was in Odebolt and we served a total of 86 households. A special thanks to all volunteers who helped in any way and a special thanks to the Odebolt Community Center Board for allowing us to use the facility.

Odebolt's new representatives are Jim and Marne Barker.

On Thursday, May 21st the Community Basket mobile food pantry will be at St. John Lutheran Church in Kiron starting at 4:30 p.m.  Anyone who would like to help is more than welcome.
