Marian Sonichsen, age 96, of Arthur, Iowa, died Saturday, December 31, 2011, at the Odebolt Nursing & Rehab Center in Odebolt, Iowa. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Kiron, Iowa, under the direction of Christensen-Huffman Funeral Homes. Burial folowed in Kiron Cemetery, Kiron, Iowa.

So sorry to read of Marian's passing. I've enjoyed her Christmas letters of the past, keeping me abreast of family happenings. She's now gained the reward of a life of faith and service, although those of us left behind will feel the void of her leaving us on earth. God's blessings to you all.
