City of Odebolt Public Hearing - Dec. 5 - 7:30 pm, City Hall


NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE STATUS OF FUNDED ACTIVITIES

The City of Odebolt will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall in Odebolt on the status of the sewer treatment project the city has been working on.  This project was funded in part through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Iowa Department of Economic Development. 

Pursuant to the citizen participation requirements of Section 508 of the Housing Act of 1987, as amended, the City of Odebolt, Iowa as a recipient of CDBG funds must hold a public hearing on the status of its funded activity.  The City of Odebolt will provide citizens with the names and addresses of: a) person(s) authorized to receive and respond to citizen questions and complaints concerning this project, b) the person(s) that will be available to provide assistance to groups representative of persons that are low and moderate income.  Citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing. Persons with special needs interested in attending this hearing may request assistance by contacting the city clerk prior to the hearing date.

Written comments or questions will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing and should be delivered or sent to City Clerk, City of Odebolt, 205 W. 2nd Street, Odebolt IA  51458.  Persons with questions concerning this hearing should contact Joe Behrens at Region XII Council of Governments, (712) 792-9914.
