U.S. 71 NEAR LAKE VIEW OPENS OCTOBER 17
U.S. Highway 71 between County Road M54 and IA196 is now open.  The project took about 3 months to complete.  The bridge was removed and the road was filled in.  The highway has been closed since July 27 and was expected to be completed by October 31.
