NOTICE

1.  All flower arrangements, wires and potted plants placed on graves for the Memorial Day weekend should be removed by
Monday, June 13th.

2.  Any time after the two-week period immediately following Memorial Day, floral arrangements must be in a well-anchored, sturdy container.  They must be on, or in line with, the base of the monument, so as not to impede the mowing and trimming of the cemetery.

ODEBOLT BETTERMENT COMMITTEE PROJECTS UNDERWAY
The Odebolt City Park is getting a new basketball court.  Greg Neville Construction was busy laying a new cement pad for the court last Thursday.  The hoops that will go up are from the old court at the Odebolt-Arthur Community School.  This project has been made possible by the Sac County Endowment Foundation, the City of Odebolt, Iowa Network Services and many others.

The construction company also laid a new cement pad on the north side of the shelter house.  The bathroom facilities have received a new coat of paint, and an attractive planter has been constructed on the south side.  Thank you to Twyla Godbersen for the artistic bicycle creation, and to Gomaco for painting it.

A new "11 years" sticker was added to the Tree City U.S.A. sign at the east end of the triangle by Mayor Ron Rex.  The swimming pool is full of water and the swimming season has begun.  Creek Days will be coming soon; it is time to pick up, paint, and tidy up our residences for our guests.  Make Odebolt look good!!
