RURAL LEGACY PROJECT TO MEET
Tuesday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. the Rural Legacy Project Steering Committee will meet at the Odebolt Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Meetings are hoped to be the 4th Tuesday evening each month at the same time and the same location. - Carol Raasch
RELAY IOWA RUNNER TO PASS THROUGH ODEBOLT ON JUNE 10
Registration is currently open for Relay Iowa, in which teams of up to 12 people run relay-style across the state of Iowa. They run continuously for three days and two nights, covering over 300 miles in one weekend!
This year the run will take place from June 10-12, and we will be passing through Odebolt on Friday, June 10 from about 1-4 pm.
Last year we found that the local citizens we very curious about who we are and what we were doing, so this year we are trying to spread the word across the state.

FAITH LUTHERAN USED SHOE DRIVE
Clear some space in your closet and help families in need at the same time! Odebolt's Faith Lutheran Church is currently collecting good used shoes. They ask that the shoes be clean, that the shoes be tied into pairs by the laces if they have them.
All types of shoes and sizes are welcome ! Dress shoes, casual shoes, sport shoes and boots. The donated shoes will be taken to the Mission of the Messiah in Sioux City on June 9th.
Shoes maybe dropped off at Faith Lutheran Church or at Jim's TV & Appliance in Odebolt.
