BC-IG, O-A BOARDS TO DISCUSS REORGANIZATION
The Battle Creek-Ida Grove and Odebolt-Arthur School Boards will meet in a joint special session on Tuesday, April 26, 6:30 p.m., at the central office in Ida Grove. The boards will consider calling for the development of a reorganization petition and will consider consent to use joint legal representation in the development of a reorganization petition.

MUSIC DONATION
     The Odebolt-Arthur Education Foundation recently made a donation to the O-A/BC-IG Music Department. Carol Auen, foundation president, presented the money to Linda Johnson of the music department, along with Eric Wells, O-A/BC-IG band instructor and music students Jillian Hewitt, Cailin Carstensen, Kara Cowlham and Erin Glawe.
     The money came from memorials from O-A alumni including Rick and Barb Votrobeck in memory of Mary Jeanne Thompson, Bob Hemphill, Jack Lundell, Allie Bernhardt, Vicki Neville, Doris Johnson, Ferne Chester, Dick Cordes, Hazel Godbersen, Marie Berg and Curt Raasch; Alice Hemphill in memory of Bob Hemphill; Bob and Carol Auen in memory of Don Schwaller and Curt Raasch; Mervin and Margaret Ann Buller in memory of Curt Raasch; Elsa Diersen in memory of Richard Swanson, Paul Dinges, Marilyn Gunderson, Jane Lee, Phyllis Hoefling and Ferne (Halboth) Niederfrank. BECKMAN MOTORS PRESENTS CHECK TO MUSIC BOOSTERS

     Larry Beckman Motors is proud to be able to present the OA-BCIG Music Boosters with a $5000 check to go towards paying a portion of the 2011 Music Trip to Washington D.C. this May. 
    Two hundred eighty-nine community members came together to test drive the new Dodge vehicles on March 24th; the goal was 250 test drives. Dodge donated $20 for each test drive. Dodge only has 100 of these fundraisers nationwide so we were excited to be able to offer one of those events.  - Submitted by Vicki Beckman

OA-BCIG Middle School band will perform.
