QUALIFIES FOR NATIONAL GAMES

Easton Harms, a 1st grader at Odebolt-Arthur, competed in the 2011 Iowa Winter Olympic Games on February 6 in Perry, IA. He was the gold medalist in the 58-pound weight division and has qualified for the National State Olympic Games in San Diego, CA, August 6-7. Easton is 23-10 in his first year of wrestling and is a member of the Mat Rats Wrestling Club in Odebolt.


NOTES FROM ONRC AUXILIARY JAN. 20 MEETING

ONRC has a salad bar that they are using a couple of times a week. Residents are excited about that.

Looking for an outside thermometer; still looking for a wooden coat rack for assisted living.


OA/BCIG STUDENTS SELECTED FOR BVU HONOR BAND

The 30th Annual Buena Vista University Honor Band Festival will be held on February 26, 2011. The following OA/BCIG Middle School students have been selected to perform in the festival based on nominations submitted by their school band director, Mrs. Laurie Currie: Darian Ernst, Beth Stangl, Erin Fineran, Emily Beckman, Blake Netherton, Lexie Petersen, Taylor Trimble and Thomas Mace. The finale concert will be held at Schaller Memorial Chapel on the BVU campus at 6:30 p.m. on February 26. The concert is open to the public and admission is free.
