SCHEDULED OPENINGS FOR THE HOLIDAYS:
The Iowa Rural Schools Museum of Odebolt will be open this coming Saturday, December 5th, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. following the main festivities at the Community Center. Come see the locally harvested cedar Christmas tree, donated by Chris Bender, which will be decorated with home-made decorations in the fashion of the Christmas trees of the olden days. We will be warm and toasty inside, and look forward to showing you our various museum school collections, if you’ve not been here, or to show you some newly acquired items since you last visited.
We will also be open on Sunday, December 6th, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. before and after the PEO Tree of Tribute Lighting ceremonies. Any other times you might want to see or to show your out-of-town guests the Rural Schools Museum, please call 668-4285 or Odebolt City Hall to arrange a visit.
