Moonlight Garden Party

The Prairie Pedlar will host its annual Moonlight Garden Party on Sunday evening, July 7th. Participants are invited to enjoy an enchanting garden experience under the stars as moonlight, candles, and thousands of white lights transform the garden into a magical retreat.

This year’s program will feature the Cat Tale Country Wines of Ocheyedan, Iowa. The Prairie Pedlar’s Garden and Gift Shop open at 7:30 PM. Guests are invited to sample wines and hors d'oeuvres while browsing through the gardens, greenhouses, and gift barns. Guests can cash in on Moonlight Madness with numerous one-night-only specials on plants and garden inventory.

The program begins at twilight (approximately 9:00). The winery owners will share about their grape venture, explaining and promoting their business while detailing the wines they produce. Learn how the Cat Tale Country Wines came to be, some of their hurdles, goals and achievements. Their wines will be for sale at the garden this evening. Prairie Pedlar hosts, Jack and Jane Hogue, will conclude the evening’s program with door prizes.
