Our plans are to buy commercial type tables with wheels. They fold up in the middle and can be stacked along the wall. PALMER HAMILTON is the manufacturer and they are like the ones you would see in a school lunch room.
The chairs will be American Seating Acton chairs, chrome frame, with floor glides, without arms. These fit the contour of the body and can be stacked.
If we buy 18 tables and 300 chairs the cost is going to be around $35,000.
Following are several giving options that would fit most budgets:
- One table and 12 chairs @ $1600
- 1 table @ $700 each
- any number of chairs @ $80 each
- a cash donation of any amount.
We would like to be able to buy as many tables and chairs as possible on the original purchase to get the best price.
The board is proud of the service that the Community Center provides for Odebolt and the surrounding area, such as a reasonable rental fee, no charge for benefits and no charge for churches that want to use it for funeral lunches.
