Schoon pleads guilty to robbing four banks
Jeffrey Alan Schoon, 48, of Wall Lake, pleaded guilty in U.S.
District Court in Sioux City on Thursday, December 20, to robbing four
banks. [including Iowa State Bank in Odebolt on Dec. 29, 2011.]
In addition, Schoon and his wife, Roxena Lee Schoon, 40, both
pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank robberies, and
Jeffrey Schoon pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a firearm in
furtherance of the conspiracy. Roxena Schoon had pleaded guilty to the
conspiracy charge on December 13.
