Music donation: The O-A/BC-IG Music Boosters have kicked off a fund-raiser to purchase more than 130 new choir robes. O-A’s 55 purple robes are 38 years old and BC-IG’s 95 black robes are 17 years old. The cost of one new robe is about $125. During the Oct. 9 concert, United Bank of Iowa kicked off the donations, with a presentation of $2,000 to the Boosters. All donations are welcome and may be sent to the O-A/BC-IG Music Boosters, 900 John Montgomery Dr., Ida Grove, Iowa 51445. The department is hoping to debut the new robes next fall.
