Mrs. H was properly fêted with cards, calls, cakes, candles, parties and visits from friends for her 100th birthday. Her room was graced with the colorful palette and fragrance of lovely bouquets and plants on every available surface. On the morning of her birthday, she reported "We've been celebrating for three days!" She was overwhelmed by the outpouring of birthday greetings, and touched and flattered to be honored by so many friends and former piano students.
Mrs. H is very grateful to everyone who remembered her on her milestone birthday, and while she wishes she could send personal thank-you notes, that would be an enormous task for her. She was happy to learn that she can convey her deep appreciation to you here on the Odebolt News Blog. Thank you all!
