Trees Removed at Pool
Although no one ever wants to see a tree cut down, sometimes it becomes an unfortunate necessity.  Several evergreen trees around the Odebolt Swimming Pool had to be removed recently.  Many of the trees had a debilitating blight and were also causing complications to the filter system at the pool.  It was decided that removing the trees would be the most cost effective solution to the recirculation pump problems caused by excessive pine needles.  [photo caption]

"An Evening for Education" on April 22
The OA BCIG Dollars for Scholars Foundation Board announces its third annual event of "An Evening for Education."  An evening of fine dining, great entertainment and fellowship will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012.  Those in attendance will enjoy an elegant dining experience in the festive setting provided by the previous night's Junior-Senior Prom at the Skate Palace in Ida Grove.

All proceeds will fund the scholarships provided each year to OA BCIG seniors who apply for foundation scholarships for post-secondary education.  All tickets for this event need to be purchased in advance.  Contact Paul Neumann or any other foundation board member to purchase tickets or to offer donations for a live and silent auction held that evening.

Read more about it in this week's OA/BCIG Falcon Frontline.
