School Improvement Needs Assessment Survey and Reorganization Q&A

Terry Kenealy, Shared Superintendent of Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts, has asked the Odebolt News Blog to share the following with Odebolt-Arthur Board Members, Staff, Students, Parents and Community Members.

School Improvement Needs Assessment Survey
The Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts Boards of Education have authorized a School Improvement Needs Assessment Survey to be conducted by the Iowa Association of School Boards (IASB). The survey is designed to assess our strengths and our areas that need improvement, with a focus on student achievement.

We would like your opinions and judgments in response to the brief survey. All of your responses are completely anonymous, using the survey link below, your responses will be submitted directly to the Iowa Association of School Boards School Improvement Specialists who will compile the results into a report that will be shared with the members of the school board and in turn the school boards will make the results available to our entire school community for your review.

On behalf of the Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts Boards of Education we thank you for your participation and for assisting our school districts make improvements for the benefit of our students.

Questions about Reorganization 
and Responses to New Questions or Concerns
The Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts Boards of Education recently approved language for a petition for reorganization to be considered by the patrons of the two school districts. There are many questions about the topic of reorganization and the two school districts would like to answer any and all questions and address the issues and concerns posed by the districts patrons by providing information related to the issue of reorganization and responses to questions the issue of reorganization does raise in a timely manner and in a manner accessible to all patrons.
