Local School Board Filings
Odebolt-Arthur has three members with expiring terms. They are Traci Bengford, Paul Neumann and Pat Hoefling, all of Odebolt, all at-large. Bengford has stated she is not seeking re-election. Hoefling has filed papers for OA.
O-A nomination papers are available at the Odebolt-Arthur building, 600 S. Maple St. in Odebolt, Monday through Friday, 8 a. m. to 4 p. m., or at the central office, 900 John Montgomery Dr., Ida Grove, or by emailing board secretary Kathy Leonard at kleonard@oabcig.org.
Fourteen signatures are required from eligible voters in the O-A School District. Petition papers and affidavits are due to the board secretary by 5 p. m. July 30. The school board election is Sept. 8.
United Funds & Wheeler Township Annual Drive
There are 30 helpers for the 2015 drive.
