Memorial Walk news

Power Washing Gazebos
The three gazebos on the Odebolt Memorial Walk Park are being power washed in preparation for a coat of stain/sealer. The Walk needs constant upkeep: mowing, spraying, tree trimming, picking up debris, attending to the berms, tree replacement, plaque replacement, and gazebo upkeep. Chad Sleights of Mark Hansen's Rex Chevrolet is running the power washer. Thanks to Mark Hansen for the donation of the labor and the equipment.

The berms are maintained by volunteers under the leadership of Jim Mickelson. His helpers are Irene Thayer, Audrey and Don Poppen, Linda Godberson, and Elaine Rex. If you are interested in volunteering to help, call Jim.

Kim Veit and Sandy Lorenzen have volunteered to apply the sealer/stain. The Board appreciates their volunteer labor and thanks them. All donation of labor and Finances are greatly appreciated. Our current Board President is Renee Bengford (Mrs. Steve) of Odebolt.

If you wish to donate toward the upkeep of Memorial Walk Park, please mail your donation to
