PRESENTATION AND DEDICATION TO BE HELD
On Saturday, June 20th, of Creek Days in Odebolt there will be a brief Presentation and Dedication Ceremony preceding our Featured Speaker for the morning, the Honorable “J. Sterling Morton”….also known as Daryl Draper, Historical Edu-tainer.

Beginning at the Iowa Rural Schools Museum Outdoor Classroom area at 10:00 a.m., the Presentation and Dedication of the new roof shelter of the outdoor classroom and the wonderful, bronzed statue donated by the Gronemeyer Family will take place.

Please come early to get a good seat for visibility and hearing for both these events.  We have some 40 chairs that will be available and will have a tented area as well or you may rather bring your lawn chairs or blankets.  Come! Join us for these two unique presentations…all free of charge…Saturday, June 20th, at 10:00 a.m. following the pancake breakfast.

Should the weather make the presentations outdoors unpleasant, we will be moving to the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, just across the street to the west.

Creek Days Includes Band "Trust"
The band "Trust," with ties to Odebolt, will perform Saturday, June 20 at 9 p.m. at the Odebolt Creek Days beer garden.  Band members are Alex Newman, Shawn Fertig and Clayton Bengford.

Fertig and Newman said, "Creek Days will be our first show in our hometown.  Last month we added Clayton Bengford on drums.

"The Creek Days show will highlight some of our original work, with the majority of the show being cover songs.  We span all genres and decades, playing songs that everyone should know and can sing along to.  Our shows are high energy and focus on the crowd participating.  Basically, if your voice is gone when you leave our show, then we did our job."
