Library fund-raiser

HELP YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY

Odebolt's library is one of the last libraries left in the county that still uses a card catalog and manually keeps track of books and movies. They need to become automated!

Library automation will help staff and patrons to ...

  • use library resources more effectively
  • have better records of what books are available,
  • provide remote access to the library's collection.
An on-going free-will-donation BOOK SALE is being held to help raise money for this project.  The sale includes used books, cookbooks and DVDs. Please stop in during normal library hours and check out their great selection of used books.

You may also send a donation check to:
Odebolt Public Library
200 S. Walnut,
Odebolt, Iowa 51458.
In the memo please put "Automation."

Check the poster in the front window to follow the library's progress.  Each mark signifies $200 that has been donated. Help them reach their goal of $12,000 in order for the library to become automated!  They are applying for grants, but they require matching funds!  Every donation is greatly appreciated!
