Summer Nature Camps

We have camps for children ranging from age 5-14. Camp spaces are limited and registration is required.

Summer Fishing Clinic
Saturday, June 6th 
Black Hawk Lake
9:00 am - Noon

To kick off summer, Sac County Conservation Board along with the Sac County ISU Extension Office will be hosting a free fishing clinic. Fishing skills of all levels are invited to attend this clinic to learn new skills, brush up on old ones, or just to fish with a group. Free fishing weekend means that adults that attend will not be required to have a fishing license to participate. Registration is required.

Wild Wednesdays
Sac County Conservation Building in Hagge Park
7:00-8:00 pm


Summer is a great time to spend time with family and learn something new! All summer long at Sac county Conservation Board we will be learning about Nature’s Superheroes on Wednesday Nights. These programs will be free, family oriented, one hour programs. Each program will focus on a different superhero, have a short talk, a craft or activity. Come join the fun!
