CHURCH NEWS
Beginning Saturday, January 3, St. Martin Catholic Church in Odebolt will be holding mass at 4 p.m. on Saturdays. There will no longer be a Sunday mass.
Clarification
The Odebolt Community Center Committee recently received $1000 from Iowa State Bank towards floor restoration. The amount was incorrectly published as $500 in The Chronicle in the December 18, 2014 issue.
UBI Holiday Open House
Employees of United Bank of Iowa held their Christmas Open House on December 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the bank.
Those who attended were treated to sub sandwiches, chips and dip, potato salad and an assortment of Christmas treats.
ISB Christmas Open House
Iowa State Bank employees held their Christmas Open House from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 19. Refreshments included vegetable pizza, little smokies, Swedish meatballs, crackers, and meat and cheese trays with dip. Cookies and cupcakes were also served with hot apple cider and coffee.
