"Christmas In Odebolt"
The "Christmas in Odebolt" promotion on December 6 was deemed a success again this year.  Area residents who attended enjoyed lunch of BBQ pork or beef sandwiches, baked beans, chips and pop.

Drawings were held for Santa Bucks, beef certificates, turkeys, turkey breasts, kids' gifts and script money.  The grand prize of $200 script money was won by Jason Gritten.  A long list of all winners in drawings for various prizes appears in this week's Chronicle.

Kids enjoyed visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and also received goodie bags from the Odebolt Fire Dept.  Kids enjoyed making crafts with the help of the OA Showmen 4-H Club.

There was a live nativity on the east side of the Odebolt Community Center.

KAYL was in Odebolt broadcasting from 10 a.m. to noon, and great fun was had by all!

CARD OF THANKS
Susan and I would like to thank everyone who helped in any way to make this year's Odebolt Christmas Promotion a great success.

To you who donated cash, merchandise, worked or helped in any way, we say thank you.

Thanks to your generosity, we delivered a van load of food items and $322 to the Sac County Outreach Center.

Thanks to all!
Susan and Bill Dreessen

(AND THANK YOU TO SUSAN AND BILL!)

Santa Visits ONRC
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus made a short stop in Odebolt at ONRC to visit with the residents.  Some even had a "wish" list for Santa.

Santa and Mrs. Claus also visited the Odebolt Assisted Living residents and wished all "Happy Holidays."
