Veterans Day Program at Odebolt
Veterans Day will be observed at the Odebolt School in the Middle School gym on Tuesday, November 11 starting at 2:30 p.m.  Mrs. Jo Lyons, the school counselor, is putting the program together.  We will be honoring local veterans as well as all who have served.  Local veterans who plan to attend, please call the school (668-2827) as we are planning to make a list of those honored.  We will ask name, date served, and where most of your service took place.

The public is invited to attend.

Healthy Feet Clinic at Trinity Lutheran Church, Odebolt, on Tuesday, November 18.

Turkey Drawing
Many of the area businesses are again taking part in the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drawing sponsored by The Chronicle.

To enter the drawing, clip the turkey ads from the paper and fill out the registration form. (No copies accepted). Take your entry to the participating businesses.

Turkey registration forms are in The Chronicle for two weeks. The drawings will be held Monday, November 17 and winners from each participating business will be notified.

Turkeys can be picked up after November 19 at Jamboree Foods in Wall Lake.

Employees cannot register where employed but can register at other participating businesses.


First Presbyterian Church of Odebolt hosted its Fall Luncheon on Sunday, November 2 following the morning worship service.  Honored were the senior members of the church.  Deacons prepared and served a delicious pork loin dinner followed by cake honoring the "Golden Agers."  Good food and fellowship made for a grand time!


Trick or Treat at ONRC
About sixty trick-or-treaters in costume visited ONRC on Friday, October 31 from 4 to 5 p.m.  Youngsters through 5th grade, accompanied by an adult, were invited to ONRC's Trick or Treat Headquarters.  Refreshments of cookies and juice were served.
