With patronage and support, new and present businesses [in Odebolt] can thrive.  Driving 15 or 70 miles from Odebolt to save $12 on a valve-job, $22 on groceries, $3.12 on lunch or $27 on new tires?  Please, when they can be purchased in town?  New cars or sofas purchased out-of-town?  A television or 24 gallons of gas?  Odeboltians shop at home, if possible.  From plumbing to insurance to construction to eating-out to a picnic in the park…in Odebolt has much to offer.  An Odebolt Betterment Committee has not only a baker's dozen members, but 300-400 honorary members.  Consider applying for action!
