Recycling Glass

Now Taking Glass for Recycling

Sac Co Solid Waste Agency voted to renew taking glass products with the recycling products.

All food and beverage jars and bottles (including all colors of glass) should be placed with your other recycling items. Examples: soft drink, juice, beer/wine bottles, spaghetti sauce, baby food, pickle and mayonnaise jars.

*Empty and rinse the jars and bottles. *Lids and labels are okay. *Food and beverage containers only.

Not acceptable items are mirrors, window glass, plates, pottery, ceramics drinking glasses, headlights, cooking ware or light bulbs.

Help us keep more items out of the landfill.
