Community Kids’ Carnival
After the Parade on Saturday, June 21st, of Creek Days in Odebolt, there will be a Community Kids’ Carnival! Offered will be many games of chance and skill with prizes galore, as well as the kiddie-train rides for the price of 1, 2 or 3 tickets purchased at the main door.  It will be held on the grounds of the First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Maple and Third Streets.  Come one and all for some good old fashioned fun in the shade!

Creek Days BBQ Cook-off - don't forget to register!
BBQ COOKOFF for Creek Days! Sunday, June 22, 2014. $25 entry fee, cash payout 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Register by June 1st if you're interested---email heidi_hoefling@hotmail.com to sign up!

Register early for June 21st 5K Run & Walk
Register early and save!  $20 in advance; $25 day of race. Taking day-of registrations starting at 7 am. at O-A Elementary School on Saturday, June 21st with the Run/Walk starting from O-A Elementary School at 7:30 am.   Hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church.  Proceeds to Odebolt Development Corp. and the church.  Click for registration information

Little Ms. & Mr. Creek Days Contest
Kids ages 5-10, stop by Shear Magic to get an envelope. Collect as much money as you can & return it with earnings to Shear Magic by June 1st. The girl & boy with the most money will be crowned during Creek Days 2014. The winners will be Grand Marshals for the parade.

Community Basket Mobile Pantry
Each of the 7 communities involved in Community Basket has a Community Rep who is responsible for lining up a place to hold the distribution, serve on the board, and take pre-orders for deliveries.

The next distribution will be in Arthur at the Community Center on June 19th with doors opening at 4:30.

Faith Lutheran to have rummage sale
There will be Rummage Sale in basement of Faith Lutheran Church during Odebolt's Garage Sale Days.  The Rummage Sale will be held on Friday, June 13 from 4:30-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 from 7:00 am to noon.  Faith Lutheran is Located at  708 Locust Street in Odebolt.  The proceeds of this sale will go toward youth programs, summer camp, and the Back Pack Ministry program.

Odebolt City-Wide Garage Sales
will be held on Friday, June 13th from 6-8pm (some open earlier) and Saturday, June 14th, 8am to noon.  Call Cam Pierce at 668-2898 to register or for information.

Back Pack Ministry extended through summer
A special thank you to Con Ag Foods for their donations during this past school year of popcorn and pudding. At the end of the school year we were filling bags for approximately 63 youth from 25 families.   Because the need for food does not go away during the summer we are extending the program to run through the summer but it will look a bit different. Families may call the church and make the request to Pastor Trish Underbrg.  Pick-up will be on Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 708 Locust Street in Odebolt.  Phone 668-4515 for information.
