Resurfacing the Odebolt Pool Deck
Work on the Odebolt swimming pool deck began on September 15. Areas in need of repair are being resurfaced. The total project cost of $11,777 is funded by a $5,888 grant from the Sac County Endowment Foundation, some matching funds from the Iowa Network Services $1,500 grant, a portion of the Faith Lutheran Church donation, and local option sales taxes.
A grant from the Renze Foundation has been received to purchase a chemical pump and auto jet vac that cleans the floor of the pool when it is closed. There will be planning for future projects as well as fundraising annually.
Iowa State Bank recently donated $500 toward upgrading and improving the Odebolt swimming pool.
