Tree Planting
On May 15 the 8th Grade Ag Exploratory class planted trees at the Odebolt Swimming Pool area and along the Odebolt Memorial Walk.  The trees were a result of a grant from MidAmerican Energy to the Odebolt Betterment Committee (OBC).  The trees will help provide a barrier for the pool against debris from the adjacent farmland.

The students were accompanied by their instructor, Eric Miller.  OBC members assisting were Jim Mickelson, Linda Godbersen, Kerry Reinhart, Joan Godbersen and Elaine Rex.  Refreshments were furnished by Joan Godbersen and Elaine Rex.  Joel Ahart furnished his tractor tiller and Kerry Reinhart furnished his water wagon.

Trees were also planted at the Triangle Park, in the Odebolt RV Park and near Crop Production Services on north Walnut Street, with acknowledgment to Deb and Kerry Reinhart and Elaine Rex.
