Bowling Alley Restaurant sustains fire damage
Odebolt Fire Department responded to an early morning fire at the Bowling Alley Restaurant in Odebolt on Friday, June 15.  The fired damaged walls, rafters, plumbing and electrical lines in the back hallway area. Heavy water and smoke damage was evident throughout the building.  The business is owned by Richard and Melody Schroeder.

Peterson Pioneer Home is moved
Last week the Peterson Pioneer Home was successfully moved from its original location on South Walnut Street to the downtown green space across from the Odebolt Museum and directly adjacent to the Richland #1 country school.  Because the interior furnishings did not have to be taken out prior to moving, the building was open to visitors on Saturday morning of Creek Days.  Having the three buildings open was a great opportunity to reminisce and to share plans for future development of the site.  Read more about the pioneer home.
