Volunteer Painters

Several volunteers helped paint the posts at the Odebolt swimming pool and also at the RV Park.  Volunteers included Ron & Elaine Rex, Dr. Thad Thompson, Elaine Rex, Frieda Stehr, Carolyn Hoelscher, Emily Beckman, Jacob Olson, Jan Henderson, Jade Godbersen, Shelby Veit, Beth Christensen and Renee Bengford. The paint was purchased by City Council, who also approved the painting.

O-A Alumni Notice


Carol Auen will no longer keep up the OA Alumni database after 20+ years of trying to keep track of everyone's whereabouts.  If someone is interested in this project, she is willing to share everything that she has at this point.  The community has used this information many times to contact alumni, and it would be great if someone could continue it.  If you are interested in taking over this database, please contact Carol by phone or at

OA-BCIG NEWS

Notice of Vacancy: The OA-BCIG Schools have the following vacancies for the 2012-2013 school year. 
 - Middle School Reading Teacher
 - High School Wrestling Cheerleader Coach
Those qualified and interested in the postiions should submit materials to the O-A (668-2289) ro BCIG (364-3687) Central Offices.  These positions will remain open until filled.  EOE/AA Employer.

2012 Summer Sports Special -This week's paper includes a special section with OA-BCIG summer sports information and photos of baseball and softball teams.
