MEMORIAL DAY THANK YOU
     On behalf of the City of Odebolt, a big thank you to our American Legion Post and the Auxiliary for having a memorable service at the Odebolt Cemetery on Memorial Day and to Sgt./Major Larry Fineran of the Marine Corp for giving a very inspirational talk. A “thank you” to all the volunteers who made our cemetery a beautiful setting for visitors and our town folks, to the middle school band for the music, and to the Odebolt Community Center for the free-will lunch following the memorial service. We Salute!

BLOOD DRIVE:  The Odebolt Community Blood drive is Tuesday, June 12th. The drive will be at the Odebolt Community Center from 10-12 PM. Right now our current critical blood needs are O-, A-, A+, AB-, and B+.  If anyone would like to make an appointment they can call 1.800.287.4903 or visit us online at www.lifeservebloodcenter.org. 

     Also right now we have a spring promotion going on. As part of the blood donor reward and recognition program, donors earn points when they donate blood which can be redeemed at LifeServe Blood Center’s Online Store. Donors can use the points they earn to redeem a limited-edition “Recycle Life” t-shirt at the Online Store for just 200 points! The special t-shirt gift will only be available at the LifeServe Blood Center Online Store and must be redeemed using Online Store points. 

     As high school and college blood drives begin to dwindle at the end of the school year, it is important for LifeServe Blood Center to continue strong collections, especially heading into the summer months.
