The wind of the past [April 15] Sunday afternoon left its mark on Odebolt as it destroyed a tree located on the east side of Lawndale Blvd.

Starting April 16, 2012 we will begin Phase 2 of the process of building out Fiber to the Home (FTTH) to the residences and businesses in Odebolt.  We are dedicated to providing our customers with the technology that will enhance the capability of services we currently offer as well as services we'd like to offer you in the future.  The area of focus for Phase 2 will be west of Walnut and north of Highway 175.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this transition.

Ida County Extension announces that nine participants in this winter's 2012 Master Gardener Program have completed their 40 hours of training to become Master Gardener interns.  Among this group are Jim Mickelson and Irene Thayer of Odebolt.
