TEN YEARS AGO

Ten years ago Sac County Deputy Keith Flink of Odebolt received the first national Enrique Camarena Award during a banquet in Des Moines Oct. 20. Flink was the selection committee’s unanimous choice after they reviewed nominations from all 50 states. On Oct. 22, the O-A Elementary School students and staff presented a congratulatory award to Deputy Flink for all his assistance with school Red Ribbon Week activities.
