JOINT SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
WITH
BCIG COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2011
6:30 P.M.
CENTRAL OFFICE-IDA GROVE

    The Odebolt-Arthur (OA) Community School Board of Education met in joint session with the Battle Creek Ida Grove (BCIG) Community School Board of Education on the above date and time.  The following members were present: Deb Bengford, Paul Neumann, Naomi Lozier, Traci Bengford, Dani Trimble, and Jann Murphy.  Scott Cranston was absent.

    President Neumann called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
  
    A motion was made by D. Bengford, seconded by Lozier to approve the agenda.  All Ayes.  Motion Carried.  (4-0)

    At this time Superintendent Trimble presented a Reorganization timeline and estimated supplemental weighting funding to the Boards.

Dialogue Action Items:

    A motion was made by Lozier, seconded by T. Bengford to approve the development of a Reorganization Petition between Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts.  All Ayes.  Motion Carried. (4-0)

    A motion was made by D. Bengford, seconded by T. Bengford to approve the use of Joint Legal Representation in the development of a Reorganization Petition between Odebolt-Arthur and Battle Creek-Ida Grove Community School Districts.  All Ayes.  Motion Carried. (4-0)

    At this time the Boards held a brief discussion on the OA-BCIG Reorganization Study Summary developed by the CAC.

    A motion was made by Lozier, seconded by D. Bengford to adjourn at 7:15 p.m.  All Ayes.  Motion Carried (4-0).
