Easter Egg Hunt at ONRC (photos)

On your mark, get set, GO!  Over 50 youngsters  ages 0-9 yrs sprang into action Saturday April 23, 2011 at Odebolt Nursing and Rehab Center for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Wheeler Lodge #398 of Arthur, Rainbow Assembly and Arthur Eastern Star.  Afterwards the children and their families  joined ONRC residents inside for juice, cookies and popcorn.  We had an excellent turnout for a cold windy day.  A big Thank You goes out to Tom Hickey and his helpers who did an excellent job organizing this years event.

Odebolt Nursing and Rehab Center also sponsored a 1st annual Easter Coloring Contest.  We were very excited to have 42 entries come in.  Entries were separated into age groups 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.  All entries were displayed in the dining room for residents to enjoy.  ONRC Auxiliary members judged the entries at their monthly meeting and they definitely had their work cut out for them.  All the children did an excellent job decorating their coloring pages, judging was very close.  The winners from the coloring contest were 0-3 yrs Emma Leigh List, 4-6yrs Reigny Lile, and 7-9 yrs Taylor Weber.  Each winner received an Easter Gift Basket.
