DANCE TEAM:  The O-A/BC-IG dance team competed in the MA Regional dance competition at Southeast Polk in January. The team placed eighth out of 25 teams. They received a super sweepstakes trophy for earning division I ratings in all three routines. They also received awards for choreography in prop, pom and novelty and a high points award for having the top score in the prop division. ODEBOLT ARTHUR SETS ROUND UP

Odebolt-Arthur will host the pre-kindergarten round up on Tuesday, April 5, from 7–8 p.m. in the conference room at the Odebolt building.

Round up is an informational meeting for parents to learn about the program. Pre-kindergarten is a halfday program for children who are four years old by Sept. 15, or already five years old and not quite ready to attend all day kindergarten.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s birth certificate, immunization record and any special needs concerns. The documents will be copied for school files and the originals returned that night. Contact the elementary office at 712-668-2767 if you, or someone you know, are interested in putting a child’s name on the 2011 pre-kindergarten list.
