Ten OA-BCIG artists had artworks selected for jurying: Jarret Roeder, Alex Schroeder, Zach Hemer, Jonathan Lundell, Nicole Lozier, Jayden Thomson, Quintin Cranston, Tyler Andrews, Jacob Luft and Calli Wareham. The judges chose the artwork of Zach Hemer, Nicole Lozier, Tyler Andrews and Jacob Luft to be displayed.

OA-BCIG WELLNESS COMMITTEE RECEIVES GRANT
The OA-BCIG wellness committee applied for and received a $500 mini-grant to promote nutrition. During the month of February, selected grades at OA and BCIG are taking part in a food-sampling event. The goal is to give students a chance to try something different and encourage healthy food choices for their families and peers. After students sample the food item, they vote whether they like or dislike the item. The results will be compiled and submitted to the Department of Education as part of the grant requirements.

CENSUS SHOWS POPULATION DECLINE
