Back Pack Ministry
Since the first of the year (2013) we have added 12 people to the program. This program continues to grow as more and more families find themselves struggling with food insecurity. (The Back Pack Ministry provides snack items for those in need at the Odebolt school.)

Community Basket
It has been a bit ironic that two out of the last three months for the Mobile Pantry that we have had to contend with weather issues and concerns. The distribution was held on the 21st of February amongst the winter storm predictions. Our numbers were down but in spite of the weather we were still able to meet the needs for 51 families from 9 communities. We are truly blessed to be able to have a site pantry in Ida Grove which serves all of the communities that make up our Community Basket.

The site pantry is in need of jam and jellies, soda crackers and ketchup as well as paper products and personal care items. These items may be brought to the church or dropped off at the site pantry located in the basement of the Medical Arts Building in Ida Grove. Their hours are from 1:00-4:00 every Thursday afternoon.

Soup on Sunday (SOS)
This simple ministry hosted by the 5 congregations of Odebolt shows that by working together we are making a difference.  Each month rotates on which church is bringing the desserts, which is responsible for soup and which is providing cheese and crackers, and veggies.   The last SOS will be on Sunday, April 7th at the Community Center
