Donations Needed for Veterans Honor Flight
The Brushy Creek Honor Flight committee (Fort Dodge area) is raising donations for a fight to Washington DC for WWII and Korean War veterans. Because there are Sac County veterans interested in participating in this event, citizens of Sac County may wish to donate.

Terri Carstensen Named to National Beef Committee
At the 2013 Cattle Industry Annual Convention held in Tampa, Florida, February 6-9, 2013, Terri Carstensen, Odebolt was selected to serve a one-year term on the Beef Promotion Operating Committee, which will make final budget allocations for FY 2014 national checkoff programs.
Chronicle Publisher Honored
Jerry Wiseman, publisher of several Iowa papers, including The Chronicle, was named a 2013 Master Editor-Publisher at the Iowa Newspaper Association's Awards Banquet held in Des Moines on February 8.
