Western severs OA-BCIG's 52-game win streak
DES MOINES -- All good things must come to an end.
But in OA-BCIG's defense, its 52-game winning streak was severed on Thursday by a deep, talented and determined Western Christian squad.
The fifth-ranked Wolfpack handed the top-ranked and defending state champion Falcons their first loss in two years, coming away a 62-54 winner in a Class 2A semifinal Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena.
