TENNIS, ANYONE?

LAY MINISTER AT ODEBOLT METHODIST
Ken Miller, a graduate of School of Lay Ministry of the Iowa United Methodist Church, was installed as part-time outreach lay minister at Odebolt United Methodist Church on January 8, 2012.  Ken's focus will be reaching out to the community through three avenues of service.  His primary role is to contact present members.  Also, Ken will be developing a men's fellowship and initiating a Christ-based recovery group.

Ken has been a certified lay speaker since 1993, serving many churches within the Northwest Iowa region.  He has served as lay speaker at the Odebolt United Methodist Church for the past three years.

Both pastor and congregation welcome and warmly receive Ken and the gifts he brings.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HELP RAISE FUNDS
Knights of Columbus had a pancake and waffle supper at St. Martin Parish hall Jan. 14.  The proceeds will be used to help youth with expenses this coming summer for Camp Cayoca and Steubenville and for St. Mary's Choice.  [photo caption]
