Historic Ornaments

The Odebolt Museum announces that the 16th Edition of their series of historical Christmas ornaments will feature Odebolt's new Iowa Rural School Museum.  The ornaments are available for a cost of $15.00.  Sales of the ornaments benefit Odebolt Museum's projects.

The Iowa Rural Schools Museum is housed in the old Richland #1 rural school house that was moved to 2nd Street in Odebolt in late October, 2011.  Since then it has been restored and filled with memorabilia and histories of rural schools from Cook, Richland and Wheeler Townships and other locations in Iowa.

The Iowa Rural Schools Museum held GRAND OPENING CEREMONIES on June 15 at 10:30 a.m. during Creek Days and is selling commemorative t-shirts with the below artwork.
